Katie Holland

Principal |

First and foremost, I am proud to serve the Eura Brown students and faculty as principal! What an honor it is to be part of a school with such a rich tradition of excellence. I am grateful for the opportunity to lead this wonderful school. My favorite part of the day is seeing all the students bright and early to greet them.

I am originally from Jacksonville, Florida. My family moved to Alabama when I was a teenager and I graduated from Emma Sansom High School in Gadsden. I then went on to Jacksonville State University where I received my Bachelor’s of Science degree in Elementary Education K-6. I taught in St. Clair County for my first year, before transferring to teach in Gadsden City Schools, where I taught for six more years.

In 2015, I received my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadersip (Administration) K-12 from the University of Alabama, and in 2017, took the honor of becoming principal of Eura Brown Elementary. I am looking forward to spending my career with the Eura Brown family!

I am married to Corbin Holland, who teaches Anatomy at Gadsden City High School. We have been blessed with one beautiful daughter, Elizabeth, who keeps life exciting! I am looking forward to her years as a future Eura Brown Wildcat!
