Jennifer Strain
5th Grade Teacher

I am thrilled to be a fifth grade teacher at Eura Brown Elementary this school year. I have an Undergraduate degree, Masters, and Ed.S. in Elementary Education from UAB. I also have a Masters degree in Library Media from Jacksonville State University. I have been teaching for twenty-five years. Prior to coming to Eura Brown, I taught fourth and fifth grade at Trace Crossings Elementary in Hoover, AL and I was an instructor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at JSU.

I moved to Gadsden twenty years ago when I married my husband, Karl. We have one daughter, Sara Kate, who is in high school. On the weekends we like to travel and spend time outdoors. We have three dogs: Bella, Lucky, and Bo who also go on adventures with us. One of my favorite things to do is read. You can often find me at the library or at the bookstore. I also love to cook, shop, and visit with friends and family.

I look forward to the upcoming year. It will be a fun, challenging, learning adventure!
