Amanda Rogers
I am a proud product of the Gadsden City School system, where I graduated from Emma Sansom High School. I have a BS in education from JSU and a MA from the University of Alabama. Most recently, I became a National Board Certified Teacher. I have taught in the Gadsden City School System since 2006, and have been teaching at Eura Brown since 2018. Over the years I have taught 1st-5th grades and computer lab. My favorite thing about being a teacher is building relationships with students and their families. I enjoy thinking of creative ways to engage my students. One of my favorite quotes for the classroom is from Mary Poppins: “In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun.”
I’m married to my high school sweetheart, and we are blessed with two beautiful children. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, listening to podcasts, and attempting occasional DIY projects.
