April 25 was a perfect day for gardening and yard work and Eura Brown Elementary was the project. Etowah County Master Gardeners under the direction of PTA Grounds Chairman, Lisa Green worked tirelessly trimming, planting, raking, mulching, digging, and pulling weeds. All in an effort to maintain a beautiful campus for our students. Three maple trees were given to the school by last year’s 5th grade students in remembrance of the lives lost during the April 27th, 2011 tornado. They were planted in the corner of the school playground and a marker was placed beside them.
